Payment Agent (maternity cover)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and systematic Payment Agent who would like to join with our joyful team of night workers and be a backbone to our Australian customers.

As our Payment Agent you would be responsible for ensuring that the customer has a seamless, speedy and high-quality experience during the online application, which means that customer related tasks are processed in a prompt and focused way that meets the company guidelines. You would undertake a broad range of customer focused activities that span the full customer journey, ranging from processing payments, handling customer verification tasks, keeping the database up to date, executing data analysis and undertaking administrative activities along the customer journey, supporting investigative activities around payments, verifications and customer background checks.

Working time: 

You would be expected, generally, to observe the business hours (night-shift) between 3.00am to 1.00pm. Shifts are 8 hours long. Additional hours may be required from time to time to fulfil your duties, subject always to applicable laws.

Salary: EUR 8,5 per hour + monthly bonus.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high level of customer service on making payments IN and OUT.
  • Conduct identification checks in accordance with the company policy.
  • Ensure database is updated with customer detail changes.
  • Ensure that customer background check and validation is done according to the policy guidelines.
  • Execute reconciliation and data analysis process in order to ensure that transactions are done correctly.
  • Ensure that customer queries received via applications and draw requests are resolved with speed, efficiency and in line with our brand proposition.
  • Identify and manage fraud according to the policy guidelines.
  • Supporting daily tasks and queries coming from Customer Care.

You are successful in this role when you have:

  • Secondary education (essential).
  • Relevant experience in finance field (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English (essential).
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn fast.
  • Experience with payment handling (desirable).
